Executive Team

Stan is the former Director of Gift & Estate Planning at Samford University, where he served from 1995-2016. Prior to his time at Samford, he was engaged in private law practice and personal financial planning. He is a current member of the Alabama State Bar and Christian Legal Society, former member of the Estate Planning Council of Birmingham, and past president of the Alabama Planned Giving Council. He and his wife are long-time, active members of Valleydale Church.

Kasey is a graduate of The University of Alabama, The University of Texas, and Pelham High School. Kasey served McLeod Software as its CFO from 2007 to 2019 and Zoe's Kitchen from 2004 to 2007. Kasey is a Certified Public Accountant and has 3 sons with his wife Allison. Kasey is a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church.

Winston has been a member of executive management for a Birmingham medical device manufacturer since 1996, helping the company grow from its founding to now approximately 500 direct employees in seven countries. As Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, Winston is responsible for global regulatory compliance for medical devices and biologics product registrations in more than sixty-five countries. Winston has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in statistics and operations management at the University of Memphis and Troy University. Winston is a Member of the Alabama State Bar.

Mark is recently retired from AT&T Services after nearly thirty years of service. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in Business Management. He currently works for the Shelby County School system as a substitute bus driver and in-charge teacher for preschoolers in the After-School Care Program at Oak Mountain Elementary School. He has been involved in Bible Study Fellowship for over twenty-five years and has served as both a Children’s Supervisor and Children’s Leader in the School Program. He is currently an Upward Sports basketball coach and been involved with this ministry at Valleydale Church for fifteen years.

Brian is a Partner with Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC, of Birmingham, a regional, full-service public accounting firm. He has served clients in the Birmingham and Brewton areas for over 20 years, providing individual, business and fiduciary tax services as well as business valuation services to a variety of industries.

Fay has been married for fifty-four years and has one daughter. She retired from a local steel manufacturer after twenty-three years in sales. She currently serves as a volunteer with Meal on Wheels. Her personal goal is to see School Ministries Alabama spread to every school in the state of Alabama.

Michelle has been married for eighteen years to Jeremy and has two children. She currently serves her church by leading Bible study, Moms in Prayer International at her kid's public school, coordinating prayer for Night to Shine Birmingham, and is on the leadership team for her kid's public school Bible Club and Club 45. She loves School Ministries Alabama and looks forward to the day when her kids are old enough to take the School Ministries Alabama class.
